Game 1: Longwood
We opened our season with a win against Longwood. Both teams came out with lots of new rookies. MWR's rookies all played well and many scored in both the A and B side games! We're are so excited for MWR future!!
Game 2: Mary Washinton

Game 3: Penn State
MWR played a great game against Penn State this weekend. We came out strong scoring first and played with a lot of intensity for the entire game. Penn State came back to win but it was a well played game by both sides.
Game 4: UVA Tournament
MWR travelled to Charlottesville this weekend for the anual VWIT tournament. We played a tough first game against Indiana, we put points on the board early but were not able to prevent their comeback and ended up losing. Our second game was against George Washington, we ended up scoring 12 trys to qualify for the semifinals on Sunday. Sunday morning MWR took on Indiana for the second time. It was a competitive game but Indiana came up with the win. It was a great learning weekend for both the rookies and the vets. All the rookies stepped up and were able to get a lot of playing time under their belts this weekend.
Game 5: Shippensburg

Game 6: Pitt
MWR played Pitt this weekend for our final league match of the year. It was a very well played game on both sides and MWR was able to pull out the win! It was a great game leading into tournament time and with this win MWR ended our regular season in second place in the Mason Dixon North.
Game 7: Playoff Quarter-Finals
MWR played a huge game against UVA in the Quarter Finals of the Mason Dixon league. We defeated UVA and will be hosting the Semi-finals and finals next weeked!!
Game 8: Semi-Finals and Final
MWR hosted the Mason Dixon tournament this year. We started off the weekend playing UNC in the Semi-Finals. It was a very hard game and UNC out scored us to move on to the Finals against West Chester. On the second day of the Tournament MWR defeated ECU for third place in the league. West Chester went on to beat UNC for first place.
Game 9: Sweet 16's
MWR qualified for the national tournament for the first time in 10 years. We went to play in State College, PA. The first day MWR took on Army, we scored first and held posession for most of the game but they were able to capitalize on our penalties and came back to win by 1 try. The second day MWR took on ECU for the third time this year. ECU scored early and by the second half were up by 4 trys. MWR had an amazing come back and we were able to score in the last 10 seconds to win by 4 points! MWR will end our season being ranked in the top 12 in the Nation!!
Our next game, MWR 7's will be playing the CRC tournament for the first time ever. The games are the last weekend of June in Philladelphia. Tickets are now on sale.
